Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using BioCheck (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.

2. The Service

BioCheck provides automated link monitoring, health scanning, and alert notifications for bio links used on social media platforms. The Service is provided on an “as-is” basis. While we strive for high uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Feature availability depends on your subscription plan. Plan limits (monitored links, check frequency, history retention) are defined on the pricing page and may change with advance notice.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access at support@biocheck.app.

One account per person or organization. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits is prohibited and may result in account termination.

4. Free Trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with Creator-level monitoring features (1 link, daily checks). After the trial period, unupgraded accounts revert to the Free plan (manual scans only). No credit card is required to start a trial.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as Merchant of Record and handles applicable taxes.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no refunds are issued for partial periods. Annual plans may be eligible for a pro-rated refund within 14 days of purchase — contact us to request.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to scan or monitor URLs you do not own or have authorization to test
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, scrape the API, or reverse-engineer the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any third-party rights
• Introduce malware, spam, or abusive traffic through the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

8. Intellectual Property

BioCheck and its content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

You retain ownership of any URLs, labels, and data you submit to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process that data solely to provide the Service to you.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate in all cases.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BioCheck shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. For material changes, we will provide at least 14 days notice by email or in-app notification.
